JUDGES CRITIQUES
THE YORKSHIRE COUNTY CAT CLUB SHOW 25TH OCTOBER 2008
JUDGE HELEN MARRIOTT-POWER
RGCC GREENFIELD’S CH KARCASAM RAPHAEL 77 M 6.11.07
Well grown eleven month old boy. Rounded skull with rounded width at outer eye, narrowing to definite
whisker break. Medium, short, broad muzzle with blunt nose. Profile shows rounded skull and slight stop
just below the eye line, then nose straight to tip. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Large ears, wide at
base, deep cupped but held just slightly upright. I would like to see him develop a little more breadth to the
top of the head to accommodate his ears. Excellent, large eyes with dark outline, held wide open and hazel
in colour. Medium size and length to body, moderately stocky and muscular. Legs muscled at body and
tapering to small oval paws. Good length tail measuring just short of shoulder, slender and with a blunt
dark tip. Lovely short coat, fine and close lying, could be a silkier for perfection. Singapura of golden
ivory ground colour with soft warm effect and with sepia brown ticking, showing two bands of colour
separated by light, dark at tips and light at roots. Muzzle, chest, stomach and inner legs of unticked ivory.
Slightly heavy barring on inner front legs and back knees only. Faint yellowy broken necklace. Nose
leather mid-dark salmon with dark outline. Cheetah lines from inner corner of eye towards just behind
whisker pads. Brown spurs on lower back hind legs. Lovely temperament.
THE NOTTS. & DERBYS. CAT CLUB SHOW – 24.1.2009 – MRS ANNE GREGORY
AOV FOREIGN CHAMPION, MALE
1 GCC GREENFIELD’S CH KARCASAM RAPHAEL, 77, M, 6.11.2007
A really alert and handsome Singapura of excellent type and balance. Rounded skull with width at the outer eye and a definite whisker break. Moderately short but broad muzzle and a blunt nose. Slight stop to the profile. Large ears, wide at the base and deeply cupped. They were set high and just wide of parallel. Gorgeous eyes, large and set well apart. They were wide open and outlined with black. Brilliant green tone. Well defined cheetah markings and the salmon nose leather was outlined in black. Medium length to the body with a lithe, muscular feel to him. Slender legs with neat oval paws. Slender tai that was blunt at the tip. Short, fine, close-lying coat with a healthy gloss. Warm tone to the ivory body and well defined sepia ticking. Slight barring to inner front legs and back knees. He was a little feisty but a pleasing cat in excellent condition.
